Someone done me plenty wrong a long time ago and it screwed me up for quite a while. I was too young and didn't know any better at the time to do something about it so things dragged out longer than it should have. I would never be violent towards another human being, so I created a place in this song where it was safe to have a knife fight with this unsavory character in which I am the victor.
